SSA-S တပ္ဖြဲ႔ဝင္မ်ားသည္ ေဒသခံျပည္သူမ်ား သတင္းေပးမႈမ်ားေၾကာင့္ ရွမ္းျပည္နယ္ ေတာင္ပိုင္း နမ့္ဇန္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္မွ ၄၀ ကီလိုမီတာခန္႔ အကြာရွိ မူးယစ္ေဆး၀ါး ထုတ္လုပ္ေနသည့္ စက္႐ုံတြင္ လံုၿခံဳေရးယူေပးေနေသာ ပအို၀္းတပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ားကို ဝင္ေရာက္တိုက္ခိုက္ျခင္းျဖစ္ၿပီး ၇ နာရီၾကာ တိုက္ပြဲျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း SSA-S မွ လက္ေထာက္ ေျပာခြင့္ရပုဂၢိဳလ္ စိုင္းဆုိင္မိဏ္းက ဧရာ၀တီသို႔ ေျပာသည္။စိုင္းဆိုင္မိဏ္းက ဆက္လက္၍ “သူတို႔ခ်က္မယ့္ ဘိန္းအစိမ္း ပိႆာေပါင္း ၁၀၀ ကုိ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ဖမ္းဆီးရမိပါတယ္။ ဘိန္းခ်က္တဲ့ေနရာမွာ အသံုးျပဳတဲ့ ဓာတုပစၥည္း အရည္ ၅ ပံုးကိုလည္း သိမ္းဆည္းရမိပါတယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ လက္နက္ တခ်ဳိ႕ကိုလည္း သိမ္းဆည္းရမိပါတယ္” ဟု ေျပာသည္။
တိုက္ပြဲတြင္ ပအို၀္းတပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္ ၆ ဦးက်ဆံုးသည္ဟု သတင္းရရွိထားၿပီး ထိခိုက္ ဒဏ္ရာရရွိသူမ်ား စာရင္းကုိမႈ မသိရေသးေၾကာင္း၊ ယင္း စက္႐ုံအတြက္ လုံၿခံဳေရးယူေပးေနေသာ ပအို၀္းတပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္ ခန္႔မွန္ေျခ အင္အား ၅၀ ခန္႔ရွိၿပီး SSA-S ဘက္မွ တပ္ဖြဲ႔ စစ္ေၾကာင္းတေၾကာင္းစာ ရွိေၾကာင္း၊ SSA-S ဘက္မွ က်ဆံုးမႈ မရွိေၾကာင္း ၎က ဆိုသည္။
ေတာင္ႀကီးၿမိဳ႕တြင္ရွိေသာ PNO ႐ုံးကုိ ဧရာ၀တီက ဆက္သြယ္၍ ေမးျမန္းခဲ့ရာ ဖုန္းလက္ခံေျဖဆိုသူ ခြန္ေအာင္စိုးက အေျခအေနမ်ားကုိ ဘာမွ် မသိရွိရေၾကာင္း ျပန္လည္ ေျဖၾကားသည္။
ဦးေအာင္ခမ္းထီ ေခါင္းေဆာင္သည့္ PNO သည္ ၁၉၉၁ ခုႏွစ္ ဧၿပီလတြင္ စစ္အစိုးရႏွင့္ အပစ္အခတ္ ရပ္စဲေရး ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ၿပီး ၁၉၉၃ တြင္ အမ်ိဳးသား ညီလာခံသို႔ တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့သည္။
အပစ္အခတ္ရပ္စဲၿပီးေနာက္ PNO သည္ ရွမ္းျပည္ေတာင္ပိုင္း အထူးေဒသ ၆ ကို ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ထားသည္။ စစ္အစိုးရက PNO ကို စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ား လုပ္ကိုင္ခြင့္ ေပးခဲ့သည္။ ယင္းေနာက္ PNO သည္ ပတၱျမားနဂါး ေက်ာက္စိမ္းႏွင့္ ေက်ာက္မ်က္ရတနာ ကုမၸဏီကို ထူေထာင္ခဲ့ၿပီး ဦးေန၀င္းထြန္းကို စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ား ေဆာင္ရြက္ရန္ တာ၀န္ေပးခဲ့သည္။
ဦးေန၀င္းထြန္းသည္ PNO ၏ အမ်ဳိးသား လႊတ္ေတာ္ ကိုယ္စားလွယ္ တဦးလည္း ျဖစ္ၿပီး ရွမ္းျပည္နယ္ အမွတ္ (၉) မဲဆႏၵနယ္မွ ဝင္ေရာက္ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္ခဲ့သည္။
PNO ပိုင္ ကုမၸဏီသည္ ရွမ္းျပည္နယ္ရွိ မိုင္းရႈး၊ ကခ်င္ျပည္နယ္ရွိ ဖားကန္႔၊ ေတာေမွာ္၊ စစ္ကိုင္းတိုင္းရွိ ေကာလင္း၊ မႏၲေလးတိုင္းရွိ မိုးကုတ္တို႔တြင္ ေက်ာက္မ်က္ရတနာႏွင့္ ေရႊတူးေဖာ္ေရး လုပ္ငန္းမ်ားကို ေဆာင္ရြက္လ်က္ရွိသည္။ ၂၀၀၀ ျပည့္ႏွစ္ေနာက္ပိုင္းတြင္ ၎တို႔ ရွာေဖြေတြ႔ရွိခဲ့သည့္ တန္ခ်ိန္ ၃၀၀၀ ရွိ ေက်ာက္စိမ္းတုံးႀကီးကို စစ္အစိုးရအား လႊဲေျပာင္းလႉဒါန္းခဲ့သည္။

How can I know if this information you report is true? How can you trust what the so called SSA spokesperson say? The most likely is, this is just a political propaganda of SSA, as they always did attacking on the Pa-Oh people politically and physically. They try to discredit the Pa-Oh people internationally, and attempt to project the Pa-Oh as drug producing group, which is not true, because the Pa-Oh has proper, solid and strong business, such mining, agriculture, tourism, transportation, factories and so on. They do not need to depend on drug. The SSA do not have any proper business. I wonder and am so curious how they can feed their soldiers and support the approximate 10,000 of their troops, which they, themselves always claim the biggest non-cease fire rebel army. Where do they get all the money? They are the group that most likely to deal with drug, smuggle "Yaba" to neighboring countries.
